Sam, our co-founder, and Tim, our head brewer, headed up to country NSW for this year’s Grainstock, hosted by the legends at Voyager Malt.

Set at the stunning Whitton Malt House, Grainstock brings together farmers, maltsters, brewers, distillers and curious minds for a weekend of connection, learning, and a few well-earned beers. It’s part technical deep-dive, part grassroots festival — a chance for everyone in the supply chain to come together and celebrate craft from the ground up.

Across a few packed days, there were workshops on barley varieties, malting methods, and sustainable farming practices, alongside tastings, discussions, and late-night conversations about what makes great beer tick.

Massive thanks to Stu and the entire Voyager team for putting on such an inspiring event and for continuing to champion Australian-grown grain and malt innovation. Proper people doing proper things.

We came home full of ideas, gratitude, and, of course, beer. Already looking forward to the next round.

Until next year!
