Doing Our Part on National Tree Planting Day 🌱

Yesterday was National Tree Planting Day, and the Hop Nation crew made the most of it by heading down to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula to lend a hand—and get our hands dirty.

Led by our co-founders Sam and Duncan, who both brought their families along, the team spent the morning alongside local volunteers planting 200 native trees. With kids digging in next to parents and community members chatting over mulch piles, it was a great reminder of how simple actions can have a real and lasting impact when we come together.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been involved in days like this. Over the years, we’ve made it a point to support local environmental projects whenever we can. Whether it’s planting trees, reducing our footprint, or partnering with people doing good in the community, we’re always keen to jump in.

It was a crisp, rewarding morning spent outside, giving back to the land that gives us so much. We’re proud to have played a small part—and we’ll be back again next year with gloves on and spades ready.

Big thanks to all the volunteers who joined in, and to the local organisers for having us. Here’s to more days like this.
