These Terms & Conditions will apply to a member of the Hop Citizens Membership ("member") upon purchase and on and from your first use of your Hop Citizenship.

If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not sign up.

These Terms & Conditions come into effect on 2 December 2021.

  • Sign up can be completed either at the taproom or through our online store. To access the online membership widget, an account will need to set up on our online store. 

  • Members will be automatically subscribed to Hop Nation’s marketing upon sign up.

  • To receive a Hop Citizen Membership, onus is on the member to provide a valid email address and agree to receive direct marketing sent to the provided contacts. Hop Nation will not be liable for any member not receiving their code or any correspondence if a valid email is not provided or if the member has unsubscribed. You must advise Hop Nation of any change of name, address, or other details as soon as practicable after the change. Hop Nation is not responsible for any failure by you to notify of a change which may result in the loss of points or benefit. Hop Nation may require proof in relation to any change of details. Changes to address can be made directly by sending an email to: hopcitizens@gmail.com

  • Participation in the Hop Citizen Membership is available only to individuals who are aged 18 years or over.

  • Rewards can only be used once and/or in a single transaction. If you use a reward, you must use it at the time of redemption.

  • Points are strictly not exchangeable or refundable and can only be used to redeem rewards across our stores. Points and your rights under these Terms & Conditions cannot be sold, transferred or assigned. Rewards are not property and have no cash or monetary value.

  • All points issued have a validity period of your 12-month membership period.

  • We cannot guarantee that the reward you choose is in stock at the time of redemption. A replacement will be organised if this is the case, or points will be reassigned. 

  • Members earn 1 reward for every dollar spent on an eligible transaction. Dollar means Australian dollar. For the avoidance of doubt, points are earned only on dollars in full and not on parts of dollars spent.

  • Members may earn bonus points on bonus point days, or as a result of promotional or incentive programs offered by Hop Nation from time to time at Hop Nation’s absolute discretion.

  • If Hop Nation, at its discretion, makes a special promotion available, Hop Nation will specify this, by notice via mail, email, SMS or in the relevant stores. Terms specific to that promotion may include such details relating (but not limited) to: the eligible purchases; the period during which an eligible purchase must be made for it to be the subject of the special promotion; and the length of the relevant special promotion term.

  • If Hop Nation invites you to a special event, you may be required to present your Hop Citizens Card to gain admittance or any applicable discount.

  • Hop Nation may at any time make any changes to the Terms, Rewards or Benefits at its sole and absolute discretion

  • Hop Nation will give you at least 14 days notice of any material changes to these Terms and Conditions.

  • In order to earn loyalty points, you must:

    • Present proof of membership, via Hop Citizen card or providing your full name at the point of sale for scanning, prior to the completion of an eligible transaction; or

    • If the eligible transaction takes place in a way which does not allow for the presentation of your Hop Citizen’s card, you must provide evidence of your Membership, e.g., by logging in to your account online.

    • Hop Nation will use reasonable efforts to ensure that reward points are added to the member's account immediately upon completion of the transaction. However, Hop Nation is not liable for any delay.

    • Members may submit a request to claim points where the membership card was not presented at the time of purchase. A valid receipt must be provided with your request. A request may be made by sending an email to: hopcitizens@gmail.com.
